Adult archery Achievement Program (AAP) is a nationwide program of USA Archery that provides adults age 21 and over with ongoing archery classes that help you progress from beginner to advanced level archery, at your pace. In AAP, you'll learn archery, form friendships, develop great life skills and build confidence in yourself.
NIAO AAP offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that also fosters focus, increased self-confidence, and team building skills. NIAO AAP is open to any archer age 21 and over and is designed to challenge your own personal performance skills. Introductory Archery 1 and 2 classes teach the fundamentals of proper shooting form; as the archer develops, NIAO AAP will teach more advanced techniques using your own equipment.
Both recurve and compound bows are used in club activities and in tournaments. NIAO AAP archers who use a compound bow can train to compete in local and regional tournaments.
Whether your interest is purely recreational or competitive NIAO AAP is tailored to help you achieve your goals.
