Meet the

Board of Directors

Northern Illinois Archery Organization was incorporated on April 30, 2014 by six people who have received mental and physical benefits from the sport of archery for many years and decided to form an organization that can pass along those same benefits through classes and ongoing archery development programs.

Archery is one of the safest sports and can be enjoyed by just about anyone. As we work towards the ultimate goal of building a new indoor and outdoor range, as that will allow for many more great activities and fun events to all who we serve.

It is our intention to involve everyone we can to show the positive physical and mental benefits that archery can do for them as it did for our founders and their families.

Goals

Obtain more inventory and equipment
Provide training and certifications to recruit more instructors
Recruit parent and community volunteers to assist with fundraising events
Obtain sponsors and regular contributors
Expand locations
Obtain property for indoor and outdoor archery ranges
Continue to travel to more communities to promote archery
Partner with government, non-profit, and corporate entities that will help mission fulfillment
Maintain positive relationships
Maintain excellent participant experiences

Mission

“Our mission is to promote archery awareness in communities we serve and to expand participation in the education, programs and safe practice of indoor and outdoor archery“

Our purpose is to:

Promote education in the safety and use of archery equipment
Provide progressive advancement programs in local communities we serve
Enhance archery knowledge and skill levels for adults and children
Provide a scholarship program for underprivileged adults and children
Provide physical education requirements for home-schooled children

Northern Illinois Archery Organization is a U.S. IRS recognized 501(c)(3) public charitable corporation and is registered with the Illinois Attorney General's Charitable Trusts Bureau - Reg# 01068202
